A Romantic Forest Fairytale Engagement Photo Session in Barriere, BC
In the heart of the forest surrounding J+C’s property outside of Barriere, BC, the most magical and intimate engagement photos unfolded. The trees and ferns were green, the light was shining through the leaves, creating the most beautiful summer glow, and this couple showed up ready to have some fun! I call this a forest fairytale engagement session because that’s exactly what it felt like; like something out of a storybook.
Picture this: streams of golden sunlight filtered through the canopy of towering trees, casting a gentle glow upon them. With J+C hand in hand, we explored through moss-covered paths and wild flower meadows, imagining what their wedding would look like which was just a few weeks away. The air was filled with the sounds of birds and the quiet rustle of leaves, setting the stage for their perfect fairytale moment. Against the backdrop of ancient trees and whimsical ferns, J+C’s laughter and chemistry echoed through the woods while we created the images you see below.
I’m seriously so obsessed with their entire gallery. Not long after this engagement session, J+C had their beautiful summer wedding on their property in a meadow tucked away in the trees. We used their engagement session to get a feel for how their wedding day photos would look and MAN; it did not disappoint. Their love spoke for itself and their chemistry is SO undeniable.
