Hey, it’s me! This is the face that shows up to your session with space buns and a creative mind, ready to HYPE. YOU. UP. My schedule is usually filled with couples, intimate weddings and elopements, branding/solos, and small families. Couples make up a large majority of my clients, and I enjoy it so much because I love LOVE! I love being the reason two people in-love get to head out, get away from the craziness that is life, and spend some intentional, uninterrupted time together.
Life is busy. The years go by so dang fast. This is the first and last time you’ll be in this season of your life. That is worth capturing.
I’ve been complimented countless times on my ability to make people feel comfortable and confident during my sessions. Whether you’re a bit camera-shy, in need a safe space, or want an extra confidence boost; I’m your gal.

“KAELI, WHY SHOULD WE HIRE YOU?”
There are literally hundreds of photographers in the BC interior; choosing one sounds really daunting. Let me make it easy for you — during our experience together, I vow 3 things to you:
1 — COMMUNICATION
Whether it’s a wedding or a session, I promise you’ll never be left wondering why you haven’t heard from me. After having a not-so-great experience with my own wedding photographer and going weeks without hearing from them, I vowed to be never be that source of stress for my clients. You’ll always be in the loop and I’ll be here if you need me throughout your planning process. If you need recommendations, advice, or simply need to VENT (because let’s face it, wedding planning can be stressful af), I’m here for you.
2 — A SAFE SPACE
Maybe you or your partner are camera-shy. Maybe you have also had a not-so-great experience with a photographer in the past. Or maybe you just need a judgement-free, inclusive, and safe space. I’ve been complimented so many times on my ability to make people feel comfortable in my presence, and it’s the best compliment ever! I promise you’ll leave your session feeling comfortable, confident, and celebrated.
3 — INTENTION
You won’t find my session packages to include 50-100+ images like a lot of other photographers. My most popular session package consists of 25 images, my lower package includes 8 (don’t worry, you always get to choose which images you keep & there’s the option to purchase more if you choose!) I believe in quality over quantity — I want you to have the BEST of the best. Sure, I could give you every decent image from our session, but I’d rather give you 10 images you absolutely LOVE, than to give you more images that are just “good enough”. These are the ones you hang in your home for years to come. They’re not just photos, they’re so much more.
For weddings, I carefully sort through all the images from your day to select the best of the best, ensuring you only get images that truly capture your story.
Additionally, I love to make every one of my client experiences personable and memorable. I get to know you as we work together, so I’m able to use poses and prompts that feel genuinely YOU.

When I’m not out with my camera, you’ll likely find me curled up on the couch with my husband and golden retriever, out on a patio soaking up the sun, or calf-deep in a stream looking for cool rocks to bring home. 99% of the time, I will show up to our session in space buns (my signature look — join me on IG @kaeliandco.photo to stay up-to-date with all things Kaeli & Co. I was born and raised in Southeast Saskatchewan and went to the U of R where I earned my bachelor’s degree in Geology. I met my now-husband on Tinder shortly before my graduation (where my Tinder couples at? Hollaaa!) and I moved to Saskatoon where we began our life together. After 2.5 years of dating and so many sweet memories, we got engaged in my favourite place in the world — Banff. We planned our wedding in 3 months and were married in October of 2021. 5 days before our wedding day, Trevor was offered a position in Kamloops that we just couldn’t pass up — and here we are!
I have always been a creative person, and I’m so very lucky to be able to build my career while scratching that creative itch. Living in BC and being surrounded by mountains has been a dream of mine since I was younger. My husband and I are so excited to be living and working in this beautiful community of Kamloops. A few fun facts about me:
— I am a HUGE dog person. I have a golden retriever named Cooper and he lights up our life so much! This means your pooch is aaaaalways welcome at our session.
— Some of my hobbies include embroidery, yoga, nature photography, hiking, golfing, painting, and plants.
— My husband Trevor and I had a surprise wedding! All our friends and family thought they were coming to our engagement party aaaand SURPRISE! It was such a magical day. If you’re thinking of tossing tradition out the window for your wedding; 1) DO IT. 2) I’d love to capture your special and unique day!
— I have a degree in Geology. I’ve loved rocks since I was little, the mountains call my name… and somehow here I am, doing nothing related to Geology but happier than ever :)
— I am a master at wrapping burritos/wraps. You’d think I worked at Taco Bell for years but nope; it’s just a natural born talent of mine I guess.
