A Fun and Playful Couples Photoshoot in Kamloops, BC at Peterson Creek Park
While my brand features a lot of romantic and elegant images, I work with a lot of couples who love to have fun! When I met Merel + Owen at the Downtown Kamloops Winter Block Party, I knew they would be a lot of fun to work with. And good for me — because they won my free couples photoshoot giveaway!
These two are closing their time in Kamloops and moving to the coast on a new adventure, so I’m happy to have photographed them in the place they first met and capture some really special memories for them. Since they are leaving Kamloops, they wanted a location that featured the classic Kamloops landscape — sagebrush and views of Peter and Paul (the 2 large mountains on the North East side of the city overlooking Kamloops). I knew the perfect spot; the grasslands loop at Peterson Creek Park. I love Peterson Creek because the landscape is so diverse depending where you are in the park. You can get mountain views, open fields, tons of sagebrush, forest vibes, you name it! It’s such a great spot for photo sessions and definitely my go-to.
