How to Elevate your Wedding Photos and Make Them More Unique

I believe that your wedding photos should not only capture the beauty and joy of your special, once-in-a-lifetime day, but also reflect your unique personalities and love story. To make your wedding photos more personal, I work closely with all my couples to understand their overall vision, style, and preferences.

If you’re planning your wedding and are looking for ways to elevate your photos, I encourage you to include personal touches that hold sentimental value (such as incorporating heirlooms or meaningful locations). By infusing these elements into your photos, we create a visual narrative that tells your love story in a truly authentic and meaningful way. Whether it's recreating your first date or capturing your shared passions, my goal is to make your wedding photos stand out as a true reflection of you as a couple. Let's create a collection of images that not only capture the magic of your wedding day, but also celebrate the unique love story that brought you together.

LIGHTING —

Lighting is another crucial element. Opt for the golden hour, where the sun casts a warm, soft glow, creating a naturally beautiful ambiance. Lastly, don't forget to be present and enjoy every moment of your special day. By being relaxed and genuinely immersed in the joy of the celebration, your authentic happiness will shine through in your photos, resulting in truly elevated and cherished wedding memories.

ITEMS TO BRING —

One of the easiest ways to elevate your portraits, is to bring along a few items to add to your images. A few examples are:⠀⠀
+ a long veil (you don't need an expensive one, I swear).
+ handwritten notes
+ cocktails (or mocktails), beer, wine, joints
+ champagne to pop
+ funky sunglasses
+ wide brimmed hats
+ personalized jackets
+ an old vintage car
+ old film cameras

Or anything else that feels true to who YOU are!

PRO TIP: Prioritize and invest in your bouquet — not necessarily throughout the entire event (you don't need to spend hundreds of dollars on florals for your wedding party) but your bouquet can really take your wedding photos to the next level!
